Payment Policy
An invoice for the booked appointment will be sent via email 72 hours prior to your booked appointment. This invoice is to be paid before the time of your appointment. No further sessions will be booked until payment has been received.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule your appointment at short notice a cancellation fee will be charged.
· 0-24 hours notice or failure to attend the appointment will result in full fee of the booked appointment to be charged.
· 24-48 hours a fee of 50% of the booked appointment fee may be charged.
We understand and appreciate that life happens, so please discuss with your therapist in these situations.
Should the therapist need to cancel an appointment at short notice, any payment made prior will be credited towards the next session or refunded.
Privacy Policy
The Bloom Project is committed to providing the highest level of quality care, service and management of personal and health information about our clients. This privacy policy describes our responsibilities for managing your information to maintain your privacy.
The Bloom Project is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cwlth) amended by the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012 (Cwlth) and in accordance with the Privacy Policy, Department of Human Services, endorsed June 2002 (amended August 2005) (Vic), the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic), the Information Privacy Act (2000) (Vic), and the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cwlth).
Personal information includes; names, addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, email addresses. This information can be obtained by forms, face to face (in person and online) interactions, over the phone, via email or from referrers and other members of your treating team.
Personal information is collected for the purpose of providing you with a service and providing you with information. Your information may also be used for other closely related purposes in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. Where appropriate and possible, we will explain what information we are collecting, why we are collecting it and how we plan to use it.
Sensitive information will only be used for the primary purpose for which is was obtained, for a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose and with your consent or required by law.
The Bloom Project aims to collect personal information only from you and in some instances from a third party (ie referral sources). We will take reasonable actions to ensure you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.
Your personal information may be disclosed in a number of circumstances including; third parties where you consent to the use or disclosure;, and where required or authorised by law.
Your personal information is stored in a way that reasonably protects it from misuse, unauthorised access, loss, modification or disclosure. When your information is no longer needed for the purpose it was obtained we will take reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information. However, due to the clinical service being provided, most of the personal information stored in client files will be kept by us for a minimum of 10 years.

You may access the personal information we have about you to update and/or correct it subject to certain exceptions. If you wish to access your personal information, please contact us in writing. In order to protect your personal information we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.
It is important to us that your personal information is up to date and accurate and take care to ensure this. If you find the information we have is not current or inaccurate please advise us as soon as possible so we can update our records.

Reiki
It is understood by the client the service of reiki is of alternative therapeutic nature not of medical/diagnostic/curative approach. The client exercises the right to discuss and choose treatments suitable and available to them.
